Auditions will be held in person.

  • Session 1 - Monday, Nov 18  3:00-5:00 pm
  • Session 2 - Tuesday, Nov 19  6:00-7:30 pm
  • If you can't attend either these sessions, make an appointment with Mrs. Hurt.  There will be NO auditions after Tues Nov 19 at 7:30 pm.
  • AT AUDITIONS:
    • You will do a cold read from the script.  Audition sides are posted below.
    • You will sing 45-60 seconds of a song of your choosing.  The song does not have to be from "Crazy for You", however if you are able to sing a song from the show, that would be great!

Casting Information
· All those auditioning will get a fair, unbiased chance as per our non-discrimination policy.
· If we have enough students to move ahead with production, the cast list will be posted by midnight November 20, 2024
· Auditions and casting are a very exciting and stressful time for those auditioning, as well as the production staff.  Please remember that casting is not a personal refection on you as as an individual.  There are a variety of factors that go into casting, including—vocal range, dancing & acting ability; chemistry with other actors and scene partners; schedule availability; attitude; and to some degree—reliability and behavior issues from past productions.  Inevitably, there will be some hurt feelings, however I expect everyone to keep negative comments to themselves.  We will build each other up as a cast instead of tearing one another down.  A positive, team-centered attitude is essential!
