Hey Girls!
This years’ Girls’ Weekend in Chicago November 7-9, 2023! This year's show is "Beetlejuice”.
Here’s the plan:
Friday, November 7th
3:00 Meet in the Goody's parking lot to carpool to Effingham.
5:52 Board Amtrak (you will receive your Goody Bags and boxed dinners)
9:45 Arrive in Chicago
11:30 Check in to hotel – The Congress Plaza
Saturday, November 8th
Everyone can do what they want – site-see, shop, etc.
6:00 Dinner
8:00 “Beetlejuice” at Auditorium Theatre
Sunday, November 5th
Everyone can do what they want – site-see, shop, etc.
11:00 **Hotel Check-out (the hotel will hold our luggage until our train departs)
4:05 Board Amtrak
7:19 Arrive in Effingham (the train usually runs a little late on the return)
10:00 Arrive back in Princeton
There is a TON of stuff to do in Chicago – Lots of shopping, museums, Shedd Aquarium, Art Institute, The Navy Pier, Skydeck Chicago, John Handcock Observatory, the Magnificent Mie and much more!
Our hotel will be within a mile or so of the train station and the theatre. Walking is easy and safe. Cabs/Ubers are also readily available anytime at a low cost.
The cost will not exceed $325.00 per person, though my goal is to keep it at $300.00 or less (this will depend on the group size and what deals I can get). The trip cost includes: Amtrak round-trip, 2 nights in a downtown Chicago hotel, Musical ticket, Official Girls’ Weekend T-shirt, and a packed dinner for the train Friday evening. You can also count on some other goodies as well!
The registration deadline is June 15th. I need to book ASAP to get the best prices!
If you are interested, I need the following:
#1 – Who is coming and their t-shirt size
#2 – Who will be rooming together. There are between 1-4 people per room. The more people you have in your room, the lower your individual cost.
#3 - $100.00 deposit per traveler by June 15th. Final payment is due by September 1st.
This trip is open to everyone – the more the merrier! Feel free to forward this on to all your girlfriends! There is time for us all to be together in a large group, but also plenty of time for individuals and small groups to explore the city on their own.
